COLOURS

Same as COLORS. Encloses a single integer number, denoting the maximum number of colours the computer's graphic chip can output. For instance, the TRS-80 Color Computer has a range of 9 colours, although it can only display a few of them at the same time. We would thus write that the TRS-80 CoCo has <COLOURS>9</COLOURS> colours. Please note that only the number is enclosed in the tags, not the word 'colour' or 'colours'.
