The Machine Room is Back!
This is the recovered Machine Room from 2005. Please don't expect wonders. The look and feel of this site is nine years old, and so is its code. Some of the functionality has been recovered while the rest of the site is modernised and restructured. Watch this space!

Osborne's full name is Osborne Computer Corporation. Adam Osborne, the guy who wrote the documentation for the first microprocessor, Intel's 4004, founded this company in 1981. His first product was one of the first portable (luggable) computers, the Osborne 1. Also one of the most successful machines of the Eighties: Adam Osborne expected to sell ten thousand of these machines. He did sell ten thousand Osborne 1s. In the first month. Unfortunately, the follow-up computers weren't as popular as the Osborne-1, although they were lighter and better looking.
