The Machine Room is Back!
This is the recovered Machine Room from 2005. Please don't expect wonders. The look and feel of this site is nine years old, and so is its code. Some of the functionality has been recovered while the rest of the site is modernised and restructured. Watch this space!

Should I really write something about Apple Computer? One of those smallish (initially, that is) hacker companies, started by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak to sell their garage-made Apple computer (for $666, in fact). The result: the world's most collectible, most valuable computer ever.

The side-effect: an excellent line of machines with great hack-value (the Apple II series, that is). This is a historic company with legendary people — the two 6502 hackers whose work was imitated even by IBM itself.
